Changing Of The Guard

It was all change on Monday night at the AGM with several new officers appointed to the committee. Vernon Cannons, after many years as Chairman stood down and he has been replaced by his son, Andy, who leaves the job of Secretary after only 25 years. Pete Claridge takes over as Secretary and Kay Lefort has become the new Treasurer after Dave Sarbutts stepped down, again after a long period in office. The team captains remain the same but the Vice Captains this year are Will Sterio for the 1st team and Duncan Sellman for the 2nds.

We would like to thank Vernon and Dave for their service for the club. Vernon has led the club through the difficulties with the ground situation and worked tirelessly for the club over the years. We hope we will continue to still see lots of him in the Barmy Army at the ground. Dave has done a great job as treasurer and we have only let him step down as long as he continues to play!
