Four In A Row For Firsts As Seconds Stay Up

3 September 2017

The first team finished the season with a tense victory at Brackley yesterday. Olly (4-44) and Pierre with 3 wickets reduced Brackley to 51-7 but Brackley managed to get to 119. In reply, Pete top scored with 32 as we got home by 2 wickets in the 60th over. We have finished third which may prove to be enough for promotion. The Seconds had a draw at home to Westbury. Richard and Mana took three wickets in Westbury's 170-8. In reply, we finished on 131-8 with Richard making 48. The 11 points gained were enough to secure our Division 7 status.
