​The West Oxfordshire Warriors were formed in 2021 by Witney Mills and our good friends at Freeland.

The Warriors are a junior team picked from different clubs in (you've guessed it) the west of the county.

The goal of the Warriors is to give cricket to juniors at clubs that do not have youth sections or don't have enough players in certain age groups to field a side.

There is a particular focus on keeping juniors playing when they are 14 and 15, when they can drift away from the game.

The Warriors are not a representative XI and they are not picked entirely on merit.

In 2023, we are fielding three sides in under 15 county competitions.
